The finance team in CRL is the core team that manages the company’s money…Our very capable and experienced team are responsible for planning, organising, accounting for and controlling of the company’s finances.

By carrying out these responsibilities we are contributing to business building decisions such as strategic planning and corporate development as well as ensuring good solid working capital management.

Underwriting is a fast-paced department where we manage the underwriting criteria for risk acceptance and price competitively.

In addition to Structural Latent Defects, we also quote for Bonds and Contractor All Risks, with other workstreams including Bordereaux, compliance, auditing and specific projects.

Communication is of utmost importance and we work closely with other departments such as Sales, Finance, Surveying and IT to ensure we provide the best service possible.

We support our staff with ongoing training and encourage career development and progression towards Insurance based qualifications such as CII diplomas.

IT & Change

The IT team is a group of experts responsible for the architecture, hardware, software and networking of all things IT in the company.

We strive to be innovation leaders in our field and that could only be achieved by being at the top of our game, constantly providing new ideas, and ensuring innovation is at the centre of our company’s way of doing things.

At the IT department we evaluate and determine which services can provide the best support for all CRL employees and the overall business’ goals.

Essentially, we are here to drive and support CRL with everything IT related – from organising a new room connection to finding new ways to help other departments improve their efficiently.

Risk Management

Come and join a dynamic and professional in-house surveying team at CRL. We undertake insurance warranty surveys on new build homes, conversions, and retrospective developments.

You will join a highly motivated and committed team who are providing excellent services to our sales colleagues and end users.

Are you proactive, driven and focused on excellent customer service, well then come and join the in- house surveying team at CRL.


The HR department at CRL is all about the people! We work closely with every department in the business dealing with anything from recruitment, inducting new staff and delivering first class training; as well as managing some of the more administrative tasks such as preparing payroll and enrolling staff for company benefits.

Of course, we are also always on hand to offer support and assistance as required to all our employees.

CRL understands that in order to succeed we need to bring the best people together as one team, which is why the HR team is tasked with looking after its people by recruiting, training and retaining the very best!
