CRL opens Welsh office, appoints CRL Area Director, Lloyd Williams, to lead the team

Following strong growth in 2017, construction insurance specialists CRL is expanding its market presence with the launch of a new office in Wales. This is one of three new office openings planned for 2018 across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Based in Bridgend, CRL’s Welsh office is being led by existing CRL employee, Lloyd Williams. Williams joined CRL as an Account Executive in 2012, and has progressed to Area Director for Wales during his time with the company. With over five years’ experience in the construction insurance industry, Williams aims to expand the business in Wales, building on existing relationships and developing a team specifically to target the local market.

CRL CEO Steve Mansour commented, “Wales has shown signs of recent growth and as such, is a key market for us as we go into 2018. Therefore, we firmly believe now is the time to expand west and establish a permanent base there. As existing Area Manager in Wales, Lloyd is very familiar with the landscape and opportunities in the market, and I believe he is best placed to lead the charge there. We are looking forward to seeing how our activity in the nation increases over the coming months.”

Structural Defects Insurance

Williams added, “I’m excited about the opportunitiy to develop the CRL brand. The construction sector here is definitely strengthening and CRL’s offering is ideal for developers of all sizes throughout the country. Our aim is to become the ‘go to’ provider for structural warranty in the region and we will be working closely with builders and developers of all sizes, as well as architects and insurance brokers to do just that.”

The new office is based on Court Road, Bridgend. Williams has already secured four new hires for his team,  and the recruitment drive continues, with roles available for ambitious account executives and relationship managers.
