New £60m development planned in Cheshire

Cheadle based developer PH Homes is planning a luxurious new homes site in Cheshire.

The development will see 74 new family homes built on the 400 acre site at Alderley Park, after PH homes bought land from Bruntwood and Manchester Science Partnerships.

The prestigious development which will be designed by well respected architect Robert Adam is the first part in a residential building scheme which will see total of £160m invested on the site.

The video below shows the extent of the existing site which has already seen large investment in high tech science buildings.

Once completed the residential part of the development will eventually boast 275 homes alongside new sports and leisure facilities. Other amenities will include a hotel, local farm shop and a gastro pub.

The residential developments will continue alongside an on-going project to build around 38,000 sq m state-of-the-art science space, which was given the go ahead by Cheshire East Council in February 2016.

Manchester Science Partnerships CEO said he was delighted with the  partnership with PH Homes to help create a distinct modern environment, which focussed on quality of life and work.  He added:

“The contrast between the beautiful and peaceful parkland setting and the world class science taking place at Alderley Park is there to be enjoyed. It’s the most attractive residential development site outside of the South East and its wider location is prime Cheshire.  We understand the site well and are building a community that balances old and new, science and nature, work and play.”

Managing director of PH Homes Philip Hughes was thrilled that PH Homes will take on the first phase of residential building at the site.

The Alderney Park acquisition has increased the PH Homes’ development pipeline to over 150 units.

The estimated sales total of all with 150 units is in excess of £120 million.
