CRL attend Council of Mortgage Lenders annual lunch
April 27, 2016 by CRL Management
CRL attended the recent Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) annual lunch.
A key date in the mortgage industry calendar, the lunch attracted more than 600 attendees for the perfect mix of knowledge gathering and networking.
Earlier this year, CRL became an associate member of the CML as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting good practice within the UK’s property sector.
At this year’s lunch the keynote address was given by Taylor Wimpey Chief Executive Pete Redfern. With home ownership at its lowest level for nearly three decades, Pete is leading an independent review of the housing market. The Redfern Review, set up by shadow housing minister John Healey MP, will analyse the root causes of the decline of home ownership in the UK.
Steve Mansour, CEO at CRL, said; “We were delighted to attend the CML’s annual lunch, it provided CRL with a fantastic opportunity to support the work they do in bringing the industry together, specifically in their role acting as the voice of the mortgage industry in the UK.
“CRL is committed to working with mortgage lenders to ensure that the best possible structural insurance options are available to all residential mortgage customers in the UK – regardless of the lender they choose.”
The CML annual lunch took place at the Lancaster London Hotel on Friday 22 April, CRL met with many of its stakeholders at the event.
